Kidsmill Nursery Packages purchased with our Home Delivery & Assembly service receive an additional 3 Years' Warranty.
All Kidsmill products comply with Australian safety and quality standards. Each piece meets the highest safety requirements of Australian standards. Kidsmill furniture is certified under the mandatory Australian safety standard AS/NZS 2172.
We cover all material and manufacturing faults of the Kidsmill furniture. To ensure that your warranty is valid, the use of your furniture must be in accordance with our user manual.
What do I do if I have an issue with my Kidsmill furniture?
If you have an issue with you Kidsmill furniture please contact Kidsmill Customer Service on firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on +61 3 8459 2750. You will need to provide a copy of your proof of purchase, along with a description of the issue (including pictures where possible). The customer service team will assess the issue and determine a suitable resolution which may include either a repair to the product, providing a replacement part or replacing the entire product.
If your repair is under warranty, we will pay the repair or replacements costs, including any shipping costs incurred.
If the repair is not covered by the warranty (e.g. if the warranty has expired, or the issue is not covered by the warranty), our Customer Service Representative will provide you with a quote for the costs of repairing the furniture.
What is not covered by the Kidsmill warranty?
Our warranty does not cover:
- Defects caused by ordinary wear and tear, such as scratches, teething marks on the cot rail, natural discolouration of materials over time.
- Damage caused by accidents, improper use, negligence, fire, contact with liquids or another external cause;
- Damage resulting from non-compliance with the instruction manual, instruction movies or other Kidsmill guidelines;
- Damage caused by another product, including accessories;
- Damage by service or repair by an unofficial representative of Kidsmill Australia;
- Damage caused during transportation, relocation or freight after the original delivery
This warranty is only valid for the original owner and is not transferable. It is limited to consumer-buyers of the product for their personal use or personal family or household purposes. This warranty does not extend to unauthorized purchasers of the product intended for resale or purchasers who intend to use this product for commercial use such as rental of the product to others.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
